Join us for a hike with ISA Arborist Lou Meyer of The Davey Tree Expert Company! Come learn about invasive species affecting the trees of the Maryland forests. Lou will discuss the Emerald Ash Borer and the newly present Spotted Lanternfly, including what to look for, how to protect your trees, and what the future of our forests look like.

Learn how to craft and hone your storytelling skills in a fun, small-group setting with professional storyteller, Leigh Tillman. Become a more engaging and effective storyteller - whether with family and friends, in your community, or for professional effectiveness at work.  NOTE: Registration fee includes a complementary ticket to the previous night storytelling event. Hike to Rockburn Branch

Hike along the trails in Patapsco Valley State Park to Rockburn Branch with the Mountain Club of Maryland! We will depart from Belmont Manor and Historic Park. Stops will include hiking tips and history of the area. The hike will include some small stream crossings and hills. Moderate hike, total distance is approximately 4.3 miles. Advance registration recommended, program may fill. Check website in case of inclement weather.

Online registration ends 24 hours prior to the event. If a program is canceled by the Conservancy, participants will be notified and offered a refund. All other program fees are non-refundable and support educational programs at the Conservancy. Organized groups may not be able to be accommodated at our free programs. Please contact the Conservancy about scheduling a separate program for your group.
