Hike Belmont to Patapsco's Orange Grove area with a visit to the swinging bridge with Carole Veihmeyer. Stops along the trail will include history of the area and whatever interesting nature we may find along the way. The hike will include some small stream crossings and hills. Celebrate Father's Day with the Howard County Conservancy at Belmont with a morning outdoors! Join us for a guided hike around Belmont's historic property- including trails through the Patapsco Valley State Park. Afterwards, work with Dad to earn your Junior Naturalist patch: a new activity available for visiting children at the Conservancy. Be on the quest for animal evidence, scout out wildlife habitats, identify native trees and learn how to protect our watershed. Online registration ends 24 hours prior to the event. If a program is canceled by the Conservancy, participants will be notified and offered a refund. All other program fees are non-refundable and support educational programs at the Conservancy. Organized groups cannot be able to be accommodated at our free programs. Please contact the Conservancy about scheduling a separate program for your group.
