Need a place to bring your children when schools are closed?
Bring them to The Howard County Conservancy for our School’s Out Nature Program. TWO LOCATIONS AVAILABLE! Sign up for School’s Out at The Howard County Conservancy at Mt. Pleasant in Woodstock, Maryland or The Howard County Conservancy at Belmont Manor and Historical Park in Elkridge, Maryland. These educational programs are held on select days when Howard County Public Schools are closed to students. These programs will include educational games, activities, and crafts emphasizing all the wonders of the natural world. Children will discover and explore the variety of natural habitats as life flourishes all around them.
Children ages 5—12 welcome. You must register in advance and pay in full to reserve your child’s spot. A limited number of students will be permitted each session, so sign your child up today! Please note that the Conservancy reserves the right to cancel a program if registration is not met.
Full day Programs: 9:00 am – 3:30 pm….$60/child.
Before care is available starting at 8:00am for an additional $5.
After care is available from 3:30 to 5:30 for an additional $10.

*A minimum registration of 7 students per session is required. The Conservancy reserves the right to cancel a session if registration does not meet the minimum.
Refunds are permitted up to 21 days prior to the program date. Refunds less 30% fee up to 14 days prior to the program date.
*No refunds after 14 days prior to the program date unless the camper suffers medical emergency, attested to by a physician, which keeps the child from attending. Refunds are not given for absence or sick days.
