The Art of Stewardship: Preview Reception

March 18, 2018 @ 6:00 pm - 7:15 pm

Free – $5.00

Advance registration has closed. Tickets ($5 per person) will be available for purchase at the door starting at 6pm. The General reception (free) begins at 7:15 with a cash bar.

Join us in the Gudelsky Gallery for the wine and cheese preview reception of our 2018 Art of Stewardship exhibit! Be among the first to see the amazing nature-inspired artwork created and donated by professional artists, local celebrities, community members, and exceptional art students. The pre-reception includes a raffle and early purchase options.

A truly unique art sale: all entries are 10”x10”. All artwork will be on sale for $100, with proceeds benefiting the work of the Conservancy. Tickets for the pre-reception with light fare, wine bar, and raffle are $5 per person, free for participating artists. At 7:15 p.m., the reception is open for free to the public with a cash wine bar. Event ends at 8:30 p.m. Advance registration recommended.

Judges for the show include Rebecca Hoffberger (Director of American Visionary Art Museum), Robin Holliday (Owner and curator of HorseSpirit Arts Gallery) and Deborah Maklowski (fine artist and teacher). Greg Mort, founder of  The Art of Stewardship, will share his thoughts on how artists can help inspire stewardship of the earth and environmental awareness through their work.

The program is made possible through a partnership between the Howard County Conservancy, The Art of Stewardship, and Medomak Family Camp & Retreat Center
