The Art of Stewardship: Gallery Opening & Sale

May 7, 2017 @ 7:00 pm - 9:00 pm

Free

Join us in the Gudelsky Gallery for the opening of our 2017 Art of Stewardship exhibit! Browse the nature-inspired artwork created and donated by professional artists, local celebrities, community members, and exceptional art students.

A truly unique art sale: this year all entries are 10”x10” and not visibly signed – fall in love with a piece of art without knowing the artist who made it! All artwork will be on sale for $100, and all proceeds benefit the work of the Conservancy. Art sales will be on a first come, first served basis.

A great opportunity to build your art collection! Speak with the artists and other leaders in the Maryland art world, as well as heroes from our community. Greg Mort, internationally acclaimed artist and founder of The Art of Stewardship movement, will speak about the role of environmental stewardship in the arts. The show will be juried by Gino Molfino, Director of Fine Arts for the Howard County Public School System, and awards will be given out.The Art of Stewardship: Nature Through the Eyes of Artists celebrates the diversity of artistic expression in response to the natural world around us.

The deadline for submitting artwork for the show is April 24.
