Hike with Mountain Club of Maryland

Hike along the route where Captain John Smith sailed his vessel up the Patapsco River in the 1600s. We will depart from Belmont Manor and Historic Park and venture through Patapsco State Park lead by the Mountain Club of Maryland’s Gary Reinoehl. Stops will include hiking tips and history of the area. The hike will include some small stream crossings and hills. Total distance is approximately 4.3 miles.
Advance registration recommended, program may sell out. Check website in case of inclement weather.

Online registration ends 24 hours prior to the event. If a program is canceled by the Conservancy, participants will be notified and offered a refund. All other program fees are non-refundable and support educational programs at the Conservancy. Organized groups may not be able to be accommodated at our free programs. Please contact the Conservancy about scheduling a separate program for your group.
