Join us for a FREE Preview of Kinetics Dance Theatre presents BUGGED!: professional modern dance for young audiences! See excerpts of the performance and meet the cast and characters.
Join an ensemble of professional dancers as they creep, crawl, weave, fly, spin, sting, and hatch a captivating cast of creatures to life! Written and choreographed by Artistic Director Lauren Tait, BUGGED will transport viewers into the hungry bullfrog’s fly-filled bog, a busy, buzzing beehive, the chrysalis of the contemplative caterpillar, and the web of the bella Tarantella, just to name a few. Featuring costumes of original wearable artworks provided by MannequART and MD Fashion Institute, as well as original poetry, dynamic props, and a delightful musical compilation including original work by composer Ferdinand Maisel, BUGGED! will dazzle audiences young and old.
BUGGED is part of Kinetics Dance Theatre’s Annual Family Concert Series, designed to make professional modern dance accessible to young audiences. Family Concert Series productions tell stories, both classics and originals, through dance. Family Concert Productions are crafted with sophisticated choreography, imaginative props, and vibrant costumes and music to result in a rich arts experience for the whole family.
Kinetics Dance Theatre is a non-profit organization devoted to the development of contemporary dance as a vital art form within the community through performance, education, and outreach.
