A Year Across Maryland: Best Places to Experience Nature as you Hike, Bike, and Paddle / FREE

A lifelong Maryland ourdoorsman and a retired Biology professor …..MacKay shares his love of outdoor activities and his knowledge of the places, plants, and animals of the region.  Author of books on hiking, canoeing, and biking, he will talk about the natural history and ecology of his favorite places and the best seasons to experience them yourselves.  Book signing following program.

Bryan MacKay is a senior lecturer emeritus in the Department of Biological Sciences at the University of Maryland, Baltimore County. He is the author of Hike MarylandCycle Maryland and Paddle Maryland as well as A Year Across Maryland: A Week-by-Week Guide to Discovering Nature in the Chesapeake Region.
