The John L. Clark Arboretum Honors Garden

The Howard County Conservancy’s Honors Garden will open in the spring of 2006. The three-acre garden, now in its initial phase, promises to be an ideal way to honor individuals or organizations in a natural setting. Trees, shrubs and flower beds with recognition plaques will line walkways and seating areas, creating a beautiful and peaceful garden.

Gifts for the Honors Garden will be accepted in honor of, in memoriam, or in celebration of individuals or organizations. Options available, which range in cost from $250 - $1,000, include benches, trees, shrubs, or perennial beds. The cost covers the initial planting (and replacement cost, if necessary), a recognition plaque, and maintenance.
