Wonder Walk: National May Bird Count with Robin Todd. Join part of the annual May count when spring migration is at its peak. The May count is an annual tradition in which birders all over North America count all birds of each species note on a chosen Saturday. Each birder or group is assigned a territory and has all day to cover it. These counts provide valuable data on long term trends in bird populations. Robin Todd will lead the group as part of his May count route. Be prepared to walk, stop, look and listen. Rain or shine.
